This privacy policy applies to both our Website and the games we release, including Solar Command, Star Age: Space Combat, and any and all future DLC, patches, content, updates, or other titles (individually “Service” and collectively “Services”) where this privacy policy is referenced, regardless of how you access or use them, including through mobile devices.

We use your data to provide and improve the Services. This Privacy Policy is solely intended to inform you of our data collection practices and your rights to any of your data that we may collect. Definitions

Furthermore, our analytics service providers may use your IP address to generate a rough geolocation for the region or territory where you access our Services.

However, as we rely on the analytics data provided by our third party affiliates to provide Services to you, you will not have the ability to disable this feature within the Game unless you access our Game through a third party proxy.

  • Provide you with updates concerning our Game and future tiles;

Retention of Data

Galactic will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Galactic will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Services, or we are legally or contractually obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Transfer Of Data

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.

Disclosure for Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, Galactic may be required to disclose your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Galactic

Change of Control

If we are subject to a merger or acquisition with/by another company, we may share information with them in accordance with our privacy standards. Should such an event occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this privacy policy with respect to your Personal Data. If we intend to handle your Personal Data for any purposes not covered in this privacy notice, you will receive prior notification of the processing of your Personal Data for the new purposes.

Security Of Data

If you are correcting information provided to a third party (MailChimp/WordPress) please correct your information via the methods and direction provided by the third party.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

California Do Not Track Disclosure

Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. When a user turns on the Do Not Track signal, the browser sends a message to websites requesting them not to track the user.
